Het blad Strictly Country is opgericht
in 1971 en verschijnt zes maal per jaar.
Het richt zich in de eerste plaats op
traditionele en akoestische vormen van
van country muziek, van de jaren '20
tot het heden. Veel aandacht voor oude
en nieuwe opnamen op LP's en CD's,
maar ook voor live-muziek.

Sinds oktober 2000 verschijnt Strictly
Country samen met de bladen
Bluegrass Europe (engelstalig) en
Bluegrass Buehne (duitstalig), met
dien verstande dat elk blad zijn eigen
redactie heeft. Samen geven deze drie
bladen een breed beeld van wat er op
dit gebied gaande is in Europa en de
wereld.

Strictly Country was founded in 1971
and is published six times per year.
It focuses mainly on traditional and
acoustic forms of country music, from
the 1920s until the present. You will find
much information about old and new
recordings on LP and CD, as well as live
music in Holland and Europe.

Since October 2000 Strictly Country (in
Dutch) is issued together with Bluegrass
Europe (in English) and Bluegrass
Buehne (in German), each magazine
keeping its own editor. Together they
give a broad view on what is happening
in this field in Europe and around the
world.
